Effective Date: October 4, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Kairos for using kairosloom.life and anything that connects to it. We’ve kept them short and plain. Your story is yours; these terms are mostly about keeping it that way.
By creating an account or using Kairos — the website, the app, and the Kairos connector for AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT (together, the “Service”) — you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. The Service is operated by Kairos (“we,” “us,” or “our”). If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
Everything you write, upload, record or connect — entries, photos, video clips, documents (“your content”) — belongs to you. You give us only the permission we need to run the Service for you: to store your content, process it (including with the AI services described in our Privacy Policy), and show it to you and to the people you choose to share it with. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from the short retention periods in the Privacy Policy.
We don’t sell your data, and we don’t share it for advertising.
You’re responsible for having the right to upload what you upload — for example, photos and recordings of other people.
Kairos uses AI to file, summarize and draft. AI can make mistakes. Check what it produces before you rely on it, and don’t use Kairos for medical, legal or financial decisions. Anything an AI adds to your Kairos record is saved like an entry you wrote, and you can edit or delete it in Kairos.
You can connect Kairos to other services — for example Claude, ChatGPT, Google Drive or Google Photos. You choose what to connect and can disconnect at any time. Those services are run by other companies under their own terms and privacy policies, which apply to your use of them. See Use Kairos in Claude or ChatGPT for what the Kairos connector can and can’t do.
Please don’t:
Every plan includes the same features. Plans differ in how much AI use and how much Kairos storage they include; the current plans and prices are on the Pricing page. Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Cancellation and refunds work as stated on the Pricing page and at checkout when you buy.
Uploads count toward your plan’s storage. When your storage is full, new uploads are refused until you free up space or change plans; nothing you already stored is removed.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings, and you can export your Weeks-in-Life record before you go. Deleted account data is purged within 30 days, as the Privacy Policy describes.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or puts other people or the Service at risk. Where we reasonably can, we’ll tell you first and give you a chance to export your content.
Kairos is growing, and these Terms may change. We’ll update the effective date above, and for meaningful changes we’ll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. Using the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
We work hard to keep Kairos running and your record safe, but the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Keep your own copies of anything irreplaceable.
To the extent the law allows, Kairos isn’t liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, and our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
